Thanks to all of you that visited our farm. Despite high gas prices and few blooms
we had a great number of people who seemed to enjoy visiting Blanco River
Lavender Company. From our observation the weekend was a great success. We
have met many nice people from all over the United States and though our blooms
were few everyone seemed to understand that the weather is certainly out of our
control. We are still praying for rain and we are trying to be patient. We are
convinced that it will rain and pray it will be sooner rather than later. This past
weekend we enjoyed meeting people that visited our farm from as far away as
Pennsylvania and New York. We do enjoy visitors and it always interesting to
learn where they are from and to know that have an interest in lavender.

September 27th, 2008 we will help host a tri-farm tour. Heron’s Nest Herb Farm,
Wimberly Lavender Farm and Blanco River Lavender Company will host a special
day that will be interesting and enjoyable. Check our website about specific
activities and registration for this event. This information should be posted by
